Some kids are back to school and that means so as their moms! π If you are a mother with kids who go to school then you know that planning your their snacks or baon for the week could be suchΒ a challenge. You have to balance nutrition and taste β and you know it’s no easy feat! Kids would always want to eat hotdogs or salty junk food if left unattended; however, it’s just not possible.

List Your Meal Plans A Week Ahead
Kids appreciate variety especially in terms of their baon. Thus, advance meal planning is helpful for busy moms. Take into consideration your weekly budget, your kidβs preferences, and calorie requirements.
Of course, moms would want their children to excel in school. By planning the right snacks ahead of time, you will be able to boost your childβs brainpower. At the end of the day, you will be amazed by your kidβs academic achievements. More importantly, you will be able to avoid childhood obesity β a medical condition rampant among schoolchildren these days.
Prepare At Night Before Sleeping
In order to avoid running around like crazy early in the morning, you may opt to prepare your childβs baon at night before sleeping. Chop their fruits or veggies (my daughter loves them!) and seal them on ziplocks. You can make your childβs sandwiches or cook meals, place them in your childβs lunch box or container, and then store it in the fridge.
Alternatively, if you want your child to have freshly made snacks, you can just slice-and-dice your main ingredients, like carrots, potatoes and beans, for easy cooking in the morning. That way, you will have more time to help your kid prepare for school.

Have An Easy-To-Prepare, Go-To Snack
There are those days when you really have to rush a deadline to meet or there are a ton of things to do at home. or you simply woke up late! You badly want to have time to prepare your kidβs snacks beforehand but you are unable to. This is the part where it is important to have a go-to snack that you’re sure your kids love. These snacks are your best bet β theyβre healthy, easy-to-prepare, and most importantly, your kids will eat them!
We were recently introduced to Snackeroo, and their Itsy Bitsy variant has been Amaria’s favorite! Itsy Bitsy are bite-sized mini chocolate chip cookies that has easily captured my daughter’s taste buds. It’s a good thing that despite being a choco chip cookie, it is not too sweet so I could let her indulge!

There are 10 packs per bag and it lasted us a good three days because I controlled the little girl’s cravings (and mine too!). Such a great back-to-school baon idea especially if your kids are into biscuits and cookies. Simply pair it with their fave fruits too and, voila! The kids have their snacks ready for school! You may check and try out their other variant that for sure your kids would love too!

Snackeroo Itsy Bitsy and all other variants are available in selected Robinsons Supermarket andΒ Puregold Supermarket branches. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram to know more. Go give it a try, moms! And find βHAPPINESS IN A SNACKβ.

With proper meal planning, advance preparation, and your trusted easy-to-prepare or favorite go-to snacks, you will never have to rush on fixing up your kidβs baon again. Armed with these simple tips, you will be able to give your child healthy and fun snacks they will enjoy, even with your busy schedule.
