Yes, admit it, you yourself got lots of new year’s resolution for the past years that you were not able to fulfil. 😀
I listed 3 of the most popular fail new year’s resolutions for the middle age:
1. I will go on diet.
Hahaha! You said that too for 3 consecutive years now! So what happened to the diet? Have you lost weight by now? For sure you didn’t. Don’t worry, you always have another year to promise yourself you will trim down your food intake and go to the gym. 😀 What matters is you enjoyed the yummy food served during holidays. But remember, a healthy body is a gift no one can take from you. This year, try to cut down on sweets and lessen your rice every meal, it will pay off.
2. I will go to Church every Sunday.
Oh, yes you did for the first couple of months. But when you got too busy (or more like lazy), you tend to skip Sunday mass again. This new year’s resolution is most likely tried to be done by Catholics who either realize God has blessed them too much the past year, or who feels they need to get closer to God this year because grace wasn’t that abundant for them during the past year. But for whatever reason it may be, let us not forget the Holy Sabbath Day for it is the only day of the week we get to thank God for all the blessings and the challenges that make us stronger.
3. I will never be late for work again.
Bet you were on the first work day after the holiday. Haha! If you weren’t, congratulations! You are one step on attaining your new year’s resolution! 😀 One good tip I have to avoid being late for work is to sleep early, which I don’t think is possible because of all these congested roads on your way home. So just be ready with a good reason for your boss why you were late. Hihi.
Whatever it is that we would like to change or be better at this 2015, keep in mind that you will be doing it for a better you. The new year brings us new hope, change for the better.
Happy New Year!
