With the society dictating what we should look like, women tend to lose their sense of identity trying to fit in. The media even has its ways of overstating the role of cosmetics and other skin care products in the market. There’s just way too much pressure in the society and it has clearly defined beauty in its own terms.
How come she looks a lot younger when we only have the same age? Why does her skin glow that way? She’s probably been using dozens of beauty products to keep her skin like that!
Comparing one’s self to others. This has been women’s illness in this generation. An illness that has to be cured!
Self-love, guys! Self-love. And let us not forget that beauty is more than just a made-up face. And a healthy, glowing skin does not really need much. There couldn’t be more beauty than the way our soul shines when we’re happy and healthy.
I am so happy to have learned about VOILA! A brand that aims to create a significant change in how beauty is interpreted in the world today. Voila reminded me that being beautiful starts with keeping my body healthy by choosing the right products for my face, skin and body.
It was great to be invited to Voila Sparty co-presented by The Green Company who is an equally great advocate of organic living. At Naked Nail Organic Spa Lounge in ACE Hotel, mommies spent an afternoon of relaxing organic foot spa & nail polish while having a little chat over some healthy food & drinks and learning more about green living.
VOILA! is a project born out of a profound love of natural and organic personal skin care products. Mommy Vanessa Bernabe, the gorgeous founder of this awesome creation, believes that as such the potent power of nature, when used appropriately, guarantees impressive result. And she thought, why not do this for everyone she cares about? Voila! The rest is history.
As an advocate of beauty and love for self and the environment, Voila believes we can enrich our well-being while sustaining the Earth. In its vision for clean, safe, environmentally aware skincare free of petrochemicals and other ‘nasties’, they make sure they formulate skin care and baby products that are equally effective without “potentially harmful endocrine disrupting ingredients”.
Their products brings about the simplicity and potent power of nature to develop a skin care solution for every skin type!
One of my favorite is the Post Party Beauty.
Removing make-up shouldn’t require as much effort as putting them! Imagine being so tired and all want to do is rest but then you have to remove makeup – cleanse – tone – moisturize – serum?? Oh boy! Now, why bother if there’s one product that can do all of that? Because remember, beautiful skin doesn’t need much!
The Voila product I love the most is this Belly Butter!
Voila believes we can still achieve more beautiful and healthier skin without parabens, petroleum, pesticides, propylene or butylene glycols, silicones, talc, carbon black, phthalates, sulfates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, GMO, silicones, artificial dyes, synthetic fragrances and the like. Oh, these words are scary!
Alongside this advocacy for healthy living is The Green Company that offers a wide variety of Organic & Natural Products. They’re even the very 1st to offer Organic Laundry Service in the country! You may checkout their Instagram to see where are they available and how to get their products and service.
But why organic we all ask?
Your health is the primary and most important reason why you should go organic. Organic food and farming can help slow and potentially reverse the rising incidence of obesity and diabetes.
It’s simply the safest choice! Organic products are free from pesticides which are implicated in many serious health disorders ranging from premature births to behavioral disorders to cancer. Remember, your health is the key to a long and happy life.
When we choose to steer clear of the many scary ingredients I mentioned above, we are making a conscious effort to do good. And when we do, we are unconsciously contributing to make this world a better, safer place not only for ourselves, but also for our kids, and the entire future generation.
