So, I decided to blog about my Hong Kong adventure a year after our said anniversary celebration.
Here are some highlights of some places you can and should visit when traveling in Hong Kong:
Of course I would have to start the list with Hong Kong Disneyland, right? π
From Sunny Bay Station, you will be taking MTR to Disneyland Resort which is just about 6 mins (HK$19.8/PhP120). There are so many things to do, attractions to see and food to eat so it would be better to be there by 9AM.
And of course there would be so many pictures to take too so don’t ever forget to bring your Airborne Tech Powerbank to keep your mobile phones charged for the whole day on all of your Hong Kong destinations. π
Don’t miss to try out the popular Mickey Mouse Pancakes before leaving the fantasy land. (HK$50/PhP300)
Ticket Price: General Admission- HK$ 539 (PhP3,250), Children 3-11 y/o- HK$385 (PhP2,300)
The Ngong Ping 360 is also Hong Kong’s must-see attractions. You shouldn’t miss the cable car experience.
Crystal Cabins are distinguished by their glass bottoms. Well, I find it a little scary but it’s really cool.
Po Lin MonasteryΒ is one of Hong Kongβs most important Buddhist sanctums and has been dubbed βthe Buddhist World in the Southβ.
Visitors have to climb 268 steps to reach the Tian Tan Buddah.
The culturally themed Ngong Ping VillageΒ boasts several attractions especially theΒ Stage 360 where you can watch professional stuntmen perform action scenes and the Motion 360 that will indulge all your 5 senses. It also has a diverse array of retail, dining and entertainment establishments. Street performers entertain visitors with Kungfu demonstrations and acrobatic shows.
Popular street foods at Lantau Island.
To end the technically first day of our vacation, a bus took us to the Tai O Fishing VillageΒ where a boatΒ was waiting for us to take us to Tai O Heritage Hotel for our romantic dinner.
Ticket Price: Crystal Cabin & Sunset Tour- HK$750 (PhP4,510)
Β Yet again, another theme park awaits the young and the young at hearts in Hong Kong.
Ocean Park is home to exotic marine animals, even the ones you never knew existed.
It also has awesomeΒ extreme rides which we really enjoyed.
Too bad we could only stay for around 3 hours because we still have lots of places to visit on this first day of our Hong Kong Bus Tour.
Ticket Price:Β General Admission- HK$ 345 (PhP2,076), Children 3-11 y/o- HK$173 (PhP1,040)
Oh, yes! The Hong Bus Tour! Definitely something tourists should book when wanting to travel around HK and check out many places. And I really mean MORE places.
I have to cut for now, but if you guys are interested in knowing more places to visit in HK, please check out the blog’s Part 2. π
To more travels!
