Star Margarine Interactive Story Book

My daughter and I recently discovered this fun online story book of Star Margarine! This is something new for both of us since it’s our first time to read a story on her iPad and I must say, we enjoyed reading the short adventures together!

So Star Margarine has come up with an interactive story book and I surprised Ysha one afternoon after she woke up from a nap. I already set up our account and put our photos to personalize the story. It was so easy to create #MyStarKidAdventure and I admit, I was smiling to see our faces on the screen as characters in the story! I knew Ysha would love this and I stopped myself from clicking on the next page to start the adventures because I wanted us to see everything together. Hahaha!

And just as I thought, Ysha was so surprised as I showed her what activity we have for the afternoon. It’s really cool how my daughter created her own mini adventures and I was so happy seeing her have such a great time going through the adventures with herself as the lead character and her face in a cute yellow dinosaur’s body! She was laughing as she said, “Look, mom! We’re dinosaurs!” 😀

The colors are not dull, they’re very inviting which entices the little ones to keep on reading. You won’t notice you’ve read all adventures in a glimpse! There’s even a cute background music that really fits for the app which makes it more interesting and not boring at all.

These were the adventure she’s gone to! The Coaster Hills, Cheer Valley, Boulder Bridge and the Hero Canyons!

Those who have known my 2 year old daughter for some time now know that she loves reading. And for her, for the both of us, this experience is new (and cool!). The bonding we have over reading is something no one could ever take from us. That’s why I always see to it that I give her time especially when she was the one who asks for it.

Reading is fun for all ages. I think everyone will agree to that. And if your child has a mobile device or uses yours, why not expand their story-reading options with apps like this one? It’s ideal for improving their reading skills and encouraging their love of literature, one simple dino adventure at a time.
