The world knows of different kinds of mothers, but one thing remains true despite the various parenting styles – every mom only has the purest intentions of love to their children.
I am a hands-on mom to my 2-year old daughter Ysha and tending to her while doing HR work for our company, managing our laser engraving and power bank business, and blogging about our ventures together really gets to be such a handful.
It’s hard doing lots of things all at the same time and I know a lot of moms could relate to that. If we could just multiply ourselves, for sure we would! Motherhood + professional work + business honestly gets very tiring and stressful. I would sometimes scream and say “I can’t do this anymore!”
But thinking about the luxury of nurturing my child 100% of time. Ugh! I wouldn’t trade that for the world! So I just breathe, collect myself, try to find my center and move on while realizing that I AM BLESSED! I have a healthy, smart little girl that made my life more colorful and complete.
That is why I celebrate my everyday wins as a mom, no matter how small it is! Just like:
Putting Ysha to sleep before 10PM
She would still like to play with me or watch the TV after we both freshen up and are comfortably rested on the bed. Sometimes I am torn between reading her a book or writing an entry for my blog since that is the only free time I get to do that. But my priority overpowers my like-to-dos. I will tend to her no matter what she feels like doing before she completely feels tired, asks for my milk and sleeps. Hopefully all of that happens before 10PM, then I could make a cup of coffee, open a snack and write a blog! 😀
Enjoying our learning time so much
Play time is very important for me and Ysha. We always seem to enjoy it so much that we don’t even notice she has already memorized counting 1-10 in Japanese and 2 other foreign languages even before she turned 2! I am so so proud of what my little girl can do and I will complement my focus on her for that. Despite my busy day, I see to it that we still have our learning sessions in between me answering emails or creating a contract for new hire. Ysha herself is very eager to learn! And so far, our learning bonding has had so many things to be celebrated. She can even recite The Lord’s Prayer on her own!
Bringing her to an event or to the mall with me and going back home with her
I probably have one of the most sociable and extrovert 2-year old a mommy could have. I am proud and happy she is! But one negative effect on that TO ME is that she tends to just go around and leave me when she sees kids that she’d like to talk to and play with. I could get a heart attack for every time I look down to check on her and see that she’s not there! Keeping her with me while we are out and bringing her home with me is such an accomplishment.
Getting her to eat whatever is served and having her finish everything I put on her bowl
A lot of moms worry about how their kids are almost not eating anything. Ysha started eating solid foods at 4 months old and I am so blessed that she has never been a picky eater. Our common dining table scenario is me telling her that she’s already had enough. She eats all kinds of fruits and veggies, she even likes ampalaya! I love seeing her happily munching on her broccoli. Oh, I thank God everyday for giving me a kid who has so much interest with food.
Making water her preferred beverage more than juices or chocolate drink
Most toddlers start choosing juices or choco drinks as soon as they get to be introduced to those sweet or tasty beverages. I celebrate my win as a mom for having a kid who loves water more than anything else! Ysha is very active and she tends to be very sweaty especially when we are outdoors. We even love to be at the beach and all our favorite activities together involves us being really thirsty. I see to it that we are both hydrated all the time so we stay healthy and the fun would never stop.
Moms should be vigilant when it comes to choosing the right drinking water. Absolute Drinking Water is THE #1 DISTILLED DRINKING WATER and I choose it as my partner in giving my purest love to my little Ysha. It’s the only water brand that offers 100% Distilled Drinking Water that’s why I also get 100% peace of mind.

Sometimes, as mothers, we just have to celebrate whatever wins we can get, even the very, very small ones. I celebrate my win as a mom by always choosing only the best for my daughter and my whole family.
This is such a beautiful post and your daughter is gorgeous! I agree there is so many little things that are a huge win when it comes to parenting!
Nice share, your daughter is lovely! Every day is an adventure 🙂
Thank you, Micah! Yes it is. It’s really tiring being a mom but I couldn’t be happier being one. 🙂
